About Us
The Blazers Ski Club was founded in 1978 by a group of African American skiers to create a community for minorities who wished to participate in winter sports when there was little to no diversity among amateur and professional skiers. Since our founding, and joining the National Brotherhood of Snowsports (NBS) one year later, we have shared many exciting experiences while introducing countless youth and adults from our community to skiing and snowboarding. Though primarily a winter club, we proudly host activities year round including travel and social events.

Membership
The Blazers membership is $50.00 for individuals each year. The Annual membership period is September through August. Membership entitles you to have discounts on lift tickets and ski equipment from supporting local regional and national sponsors of NBS and Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council. Membership is necessary to attend all extended day trips.

Epic 4 Everyone
The Blazers ski club in partnership with Jack Frost Big Boulder Ski Resort, Vail Resorts, and the Katz Amsterdam foundation are proud to offer a 5-day introduction to skiing and snowboarding to children who are in the 6th to 12th grade at low or no cost (with demonstrated need). If selected, your child will spend 5 Sundays between January and February 2026, at Jack Frost Mountain learning to ski or snowboard with professional instructors. Transportation, lunch, equipment, lessons and gear such as waterproof jacket and pants are included! Spaces are very limited. Please email us at info@blazersskiclub if you and your child are able to commit to 5 Sundays and would like more information on how they can be included in this special program. Hope you can join us!
